We all pooled our money together for my future in laws' gift (my fiance and me, his siblings and their spouses). Their gift is 5 day cruise to the Bahamas. It didn't end up being all that expensive when we had three couples contributing. We are doing the same for my parents as well.

My future mil recently discovered how much fun martinis are, so I'm getting her a really nice martini set - shaker, jigger, strainer and a gorgeous handblown pitcher with eight matching handlblown glasses. Plus a recipe book for lots of different kinds of martinis. She loves to entertain so this will be really fun for her.
I'm thinking of getting a set of little cocktail plates to go with it. I found these cute ones at Gumps that are handpainted with little martini glasses on them. They are tempting, but I might just have to wait on that and maybe buy it for her birthday instead.
