Loch David Crane was born in San Diego, CA in ****. His magical career began in the ****'s when he was a teenager. Developing hobbies such as marionettes, a Chinese Magic act, and a hypnosis act, he discovered that Magic Tricks could fool adults and bring him to a more equal intellectual footing. He immediately joined the Junior Magicians of San Diego and his first President was Bob Sheets, who is still working on the east coast as a Magician.

Crane uses his ** plus years of experience on stage to portrays many characters--
*) Mistoffelees the Magical Cat from "Cats" which you can see on YOUTUBE like all of these characters!
*) The Magic Santa Claus, performed during November-January with a real beard grown for each season!
*) Merlin-ye-Mage, a medieval mind reader with spooky close up effects which show he knows what you are thinking!
*) Dressed as Uncle Sam in a patriotic striped outfit, "Uncle Sam the Sorcerer" will enliven any event with real Magic.
*) "Bafflin' Bill Cody" is his most-requested character, and during this act he uses audience participation in every effect--people are up onstage shuffling the deck, picking a card, examining the props. He builds most of his own props and wears a replica of Cody's western costume and a double handful of Native American-made turquoise nugget jewelry.

Professor Loch David Crane (** years as a college Composition professor) is polite and respectful onstage to volunteers and frequently uses honored VIPs who receive a round of applause for "volunteering" to help entertain onstage. As a closeup entertainer he stands right in front of you while the audience is in small groups; then he moves from one table to another with a repeating fifteen minute show. Onstage he has a clean comedy act in ** or ** minute segments; his highlight is sawing someone in half (the easy part) and then restoring them to duty (the Magical part).

He catches light in his bare hands, painlessly pushes a needle through his arm, and escapes from a straight jacket while hanging upside down! He even Vanished another officer's Harley in a huge replica TV he built for the benefit shows. Loch David Crane donates several shows each year to the USO, Blood Bank, and troops shows aboard local Marine and Navy bases. In the summers of ****-**** he flew to Europe and entertained troops at Army bases and the Ramstein military hospital.

In a buffet or banquet setting for a wedding rehearsal or reception afterward, you may also choose to have him stationed at a quiet table with a dozen chairs, so he can entertain small groups with close up Magic.
