Balloon Utopia opened in San Diego in ****. Prior to that head designer Sandi traveled throughout Asia making balloons, spending several years in Japan and Israel. This international training gave Balloon Utopia a unique perspective. Balloon Utopia's artists are often instructors at international balloon conventions and have several videos out for the Balloon Industry.

Balloon Utopia takes pride in changing the way that San Diego looks at balloons. No longer just for kids, Balloon Utopia designs with different textures, lighting effects and lines to create upscale contempory pieces. Of course there's always a place for classic decor as well.

Balloon Utopia is one of the few companies that practices "Deco-twisting", that is fluently mixing both the traditional round balloon medium with the non- round, or entertainer, balloons.
