Eight Talented Professional Musicians From Indianapolis Have Acquired a Book of Fabulous Swing and Dance Music.

The book also contains many contemporary selections which will appeal to any age crowd. The best way to describe the group is SMOOTH, SWINGING, JAZZY AND ELEGANT.

This group will appeal to COMPANY PARTIES, COUNTRY CLUBS, WEDDINGS, JAZZ AUDIENCES, and anyone else who loves to listen and dance to SWINGING JAZZ, COOL LATINS, And CONTEMPORARY Selections played with the full sound that can only be heard when a Brass section , Saxophone section and Rhythm section get together.

4 horns on the front line including:

  • Trumpet/Flugelhorn
  • Alto Saxophone
  • Tenor Saxophone
  • Trombone

    Our terrific horn section is backed up by a rhythm section consisting of

  • Piano - (this is a state of the art digital piano which has the power and beauty of a big grand piano.)

  • Bass - This is the real deal, a Bass Fiddle laying down the heart-beat of the group.

  • Drums - Our fabulous drummer came out of the Ball State Music department and now teaches at a local High School.

    The musicians of COOL CITY are not your average week-end warriors. Each of the players have formal conservatory training and are experienced road players who have backed up important national entertainers.

    This group's PROFESSIONALISM, MUSICIANSHIP AND TALENT are the best that Indianapolis has to offer.
