Pipers are pretty much assumed to play right-handed and are thus taught that way. But Steve is left-handed. So, after five years of continuing frustration he switched from playing right-handed to playing “corrie-fisted”. No mean task when you consider he was doing both at once for a while.. He now plays opposite from most other pipers, one of the few left-handed players in the world.

Steve’s piping career has taken him throughout California and Texas. From Marin County and San Francisco in the north to San Diego down south.
