Back in the ****’s I used to spend every summer on my Grandparent’s farm in the little town of Sutherland Springs, Texas. My Grandpa was a Justice of the Peace for Wilson County, Texas for over ** years (he lived to be almost *** years of age) and over the years he married many thousands of couples... often times using me as a witness.
In fact, by the time I was a teenager, I had witnessed hundreds of ceremonies performed out in Grandpa’s little courthouse by the highway (he called it his “Justice of the Peace Joint”). And today, although California doesn’t have Justices of the Peace, I am carrying on with the legacy my Grandpa left me by officiating weddings here in the Los Angeles area. In fact, I even have a little place in my office I call “Burbank’s Little Wedding Joint”... in honor of Grandpa’s little roadside courthouse.
And like my Grandpa, I care deeply about each and every couple who chooses me to be a part of this special moment in their lives. I work closely with each couple to assure their wedding ceremony is exactly what they want. Whether whimsical or traditional... each ceremony is crafted to reflect the bride and groom’s own unique personality and needs... with my always there to answer questions and consult and guide the couple in their journey to becoming husband and wife.
Oh, and in case you don’t want to stand in long lines at the courthouse for a Los Angeles County marriage license, I have Wedding License Services available by appointment, either at my office or at your location.
NOTE: At the left you will see a few pictures of me, along with just a few of the thousand plus weddings I've officiated... the two couples shown are weddings I officiated on a prime-time ABC show a number of years ago.
