Julia Cunningham- Harpist

Julia performs locally and internationally for concerts and special events. She is available to perform with diverse ensembles including duos, trios, quartets, vocalists, or her own band.

Her vast repertoire includes classical music, famous opera themes, traditional celtic/folk music, film music, pop, jazz standards, Top ** and Broadway show tunes. Julia earned a Master of Music Degree from the Yale University, a Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria and an Artist Diploma from the National Conservatory of Nice, France. She has appeared on numerous television programs worldwide including Top of the Pops U.K. Late Night with Conan O'Brian and Dreaming Las Vegas (RAI TV, Rome). Special performances have included concerts with Luciano Pavarotti (Pavarotti and Friends) in Italy, concert tours throughout Europe, North America & The Middle East, appearances with The Stars of the Musicals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Christmas concerts with the Millenium Orchestra at the Vatican in Rome. Julia has collaborated with numerous orchestras throughout the world including the Vancouver Symphony, Orchestra Classica Italiana, The Russian American Youth Orchestra, The Cannes Philharmonic, Opera de Nice, and The Kuala Lumpur Philharmonic. She has performed at special events for the Prince of Monaco, Pope John Paul II, The Duke and Dutchess of York, The First Minister's Conference of Canada and for numerous private functions world-wide.

Several types of harps may be used for your event: a beautiful concert harp is perfect for the church service or an elegant reception. A smaller celtic harp is ideal for weddings on the beach, garden parties, yachts & cruises.

Julia is available for concerts, special events, weddings, harp lessons, recording sessions and memorial services. Musical combinations with other instruments or vocalists also available.
