I got my dress yesterday. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! It's beautiful... more than what I had hoped for! I had to leave for work yesterday so I was only able to try it on for a quick second. When I first saw the dress I was a little nervous it wouldn't fit because it look so tiny... I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was a little big.. Still, it's perfect and only needs a few minor adjustments. It could possibly use hemming, but I'll wait to make that decision once I get my shoes. Thanks again Kathryn.... It came out perfectly. It is EXACTLY the right length, and color, and the fabric is just amazing. The only little hangup is that I lost some weight in my hips so it's a little big there, but that's something I don't mind changing:) I have a friend who has altered wedding dresses for many years so I trust her. I love Kathryn. She is so concerned with making your dress perfect, by the end she feels like a second mom:) I will tell you though, it's difficult when you're ordering a dress you've never tried on. I live in Los Angeles, so all we could do is basically guess how the dress would fit. So i'm spending about $*** in alterations just for little tiny details. But that's pretty unavoidable when you're mail ordering. Anyway, Kathryn did a fabulous job and she is so unbelievably affordable. She really did everything I asked for, and she did everything she said she would do. She also uses incredible fabrics from Italy that just make your dress look like it came straight out of Vogue magazine. I was defintely satisfied and i don't mind the few alterations needed. Even if you can try on your dress before you buy it, most brides still always have to get alterations done anyway, so it wasn't a big deal. But she is so wonderful and I think you'd be really happy w! ith her. Anyway, I hope this was helpful- and if you have any other specific questions please feel free to email me again. Kathryn is AWESOME!!! I cannot tell you how much I absolutely LOVE my wedding dress!! I wanted the dress to look like Kevin Costner's wife's dress but different on the top. She did EXACTLY what I asked for! It is so beautiful! I gave her my measurements and the dress fits so perfectly I don't need ANY alterations! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Another thing is she is very attentive and very involved in the whole wedding dress making. She's also great about keeping contact via email or phone too. She never waits a week to respond, it's immediate. Also, since I've never been married before, I wasn't sure what to do with the dress once I got it. She gave me all the dress handling advice, like steaming and fluffing the dress, stain/spot removal if needed, ect. I think you would be wonderfully pleased with her work.

She is extremely friendly but always professional. I recommend her more than a bridal store. I started off with the bridal store people and they never really listened to what I was looking for or what I even liked. They just tried to get what they liked on me. Kathryn never did that. She gave her advice, but ultimately the dress is made to YOUR specifications and wants.
