Since 1994, Blue Moon Puppets has presented shows across the Southeast at festivals, parties, schools and more, including the Henson Festival of International Puppetry and the renowned Piccolo Spoleto Festival. Let us make your event truly special!

We have age-appropriate shows for pre-school to pre-teens, with shows and workshops appropriate for small parties all the way to large schools or festivals at competitive prices. Let us make your event truly memorable!

Current offerings include:

For parties/ Family events:

Fun with Folktales (for ages 3 - 10) Includes a custom written birthday song and two hilarious interactive folktales with lots of slapstick humor.

Puppet making workshops: After the show, make a simple puppet! (small extra fee)

Strolling puppets: Roaming table to table or in a Santa line, these wacky characters really keep the party going! Appropriate for family gatherings at country clubs, corporate parties, shopping mall events, and family night at restaurants.

For schools, festivals & large events:

Folktales from Global Village: (ages 3 - 12) Funny and thoughtful, three time-tested folktales from around the world delight all ages.

Trickster Dreams: (ages 3 - 12) More folktales with an emphasis on following your dreams, featuring many characters from "Folktales from Global Village.

Butterfly Ballad (ages 3 - 8) Follow Katy & Kevin Caterpillar as Mother Nature herself guides you through their many changes and migration to Mexico.

Princess and the Pea (ages 3 - 8) A retelling of the classic fairy tale, featuring a Gypsy Princess, disapproving Queen Mama, and a rapping Prince.

We also have an interactive lecture/demonstration program on the history and art of puppetry for theater and art students in Middle and High School or Colleges.
