Ciambella Orchestra Internazionale is a group of classically trained musicians from all over the world that perform a fusion of traditional classical symphonic and chamber music with beautiful world music by combining traditional chamber string instruments with multi lingual vocals and folk instruments such as the accordeon, mandolin,Russian balalaika, Greek bouzouki and Celtic Harp to name a few. Our group belongs in either an elegant ballroom, or a rustic villa!! One bride of Italian heritage hired our beautiful Italian vocalist "Gina" (who sings perfectly in Spanish and Latin as well as Italian); to sing the music of the Godfather movie, Italian pop music from the Tuscany and La Campagna region, and the music of Andrea Bocelli with a amall string chamber orchestra and accordeon and mandolin! Once we did a Russian wedding like out of "Dr. Zhivago" when we added the Balalaika and oboe. Likewise with Mexican, Irish, Jewish,French and Near and Middle Eastern themes to name just a few more. However, if you wish; we can perform a straight classical program. Our ethnomusicologists research for us to have authentic world sounds.
