Joan McGee Photography is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Portraits are taken in a fun and relaxed atmosphere on location, or in the studio. Joan does all types of portraits including babies, children of all ages, new moms and dads, maternity, teens, high school seniors, engagement, couples, bridal portraits, families, pets, headshots, publicity photos, & musicians.

I have been a photographer for many years, first as a hobby, then when my closets grew too full with all my prints I began selling my photos at the Tennessee Arts and Crafts Association Fair. It was a very sucessful venture and I was encouraged to pursue this as a career. Since then I have had my work published in magazines, books, calendars, annual reports, an atlas and cd covers.

Now after many years of telling people that I don't do portraits, I have decided to change my mind and tackle the world of portrait photography. The next thing I knew we were building a studio in my backyard and this has become my new love.
