Being chosen to photograph a special moment in someone's life is an honor I hold in high regard. Although our time together is usually relaxed and fun I am always serious about the outcome.

I have been studying and photographing people and things most of my natural life. Through my youth, college, parallel careers as a professional pilot and jazz drummer and a father to two awesome kids, photography has remained a growing passion in my life. I continue to study and learn and grow in the art every day. A few years ago, on the unrelenting advice of friends, I converted my life-long passion and uber-hobby into a sports and portrait photography business. Many people say that my talent lies in "capturing the person". I think of it as "the picture between pictures". When people are being themselves. I tenaciously strive to capture that moment.
