A vibration of emotion coursed through my fingers, up my hands and dug into my consciousness. The sensation overpowered me, forcing my eyes shut. I concentrated on my questions, repeating them in my mind while a far off voice told me to listen to the words. She thrust a palm sized crystal into my left hand and a soft round rock into my right. It seemed like forever before my guide started the journey, “You have resentment towards your mother, for what your father did when you were young. She feels your pain but doesn’t know what she can do to help. You’ve been through therapy and you know you’re issues but you don’t know how to let go of the pain, and you have so much pain and anger.” Tears began flowing uncontrollably and I could literally feel everything she said was the truth. Even though I’d lived it and know it to be true I could actually feel her energy radiating all around me.
I could feel her hands reaching out towards me and pulling at my pain, “let it go, let it go, those emotions are blocking the great strength and talent inside you. Your pain is eating you alive; you’re holding pain in your kidneys and your jaw. Once you get past it, you will have a great light to share with the world. You have a healers hand and your intuition is usually correct. Right now your power acts like a mirror reflecting other people’s emotions since you don’t know how to control it. Once you reach about 40 years old your intuition will spike and you will think you’re going crazy. But you’re not it’s just the light reaching out and speaking to you through other people. You need an energy worker to guide you through the next leg of your journey.
She let go of my hands and I opened my eyes. Then she started pinching my hands and playing with my thumbs. “You have a business and I see much success in the years to come. Your first success will hit at 34 and the next at 38, by the time you hit 40 years old you will be able to choose between staying here in America and living in another country. Also around that time you will become heavily involved in charity work. The relationship you have now will have an issue at 34 and then could end at 38. After that you will have two more relationships, one when you’re 40 and the next when you’re 54 and that will be the person you settle down with.”
I stopped her right there. Yeah, but I’m getting married in two weeks, my bachelorette party is tomorrow! She shrugged, “none of this is set in stone, but if you want to make the relationship work, both of you must work really hard to change.” I rolled my eyes and looked at the clock, WTF?!? How did I just lose 25 minutes and she hadn’t even picked up the Tarot cards yet? She picked up the cards and flung them down. I looked at her straight in the eye; I want to know about my business. She moved the cards around and talked quickly, “You’ll have a woman coming into your life who wants your money. She’ll be able to help you at first but you’ll have to be very careful with her. Also, watch your taxes; I see disaster relating to taxes in the coming years.”
My head was swimming and my energy drained by the time we finished, but I couldn’t be happier. A force kept gnawing at me to get a tarot reading done that whole week. I called this one guy who was referred by a friend. But he never called me back and I just happened to be at Soho when Cecilia was doing her readings. My crazy intuition kicked in and helped guide my way. I felt relieved; like I had past the first test in my journey for an answer. What answer you ask? When I find out I’ll let you know!
