A musician his entire professional life, Richard Hastings holds music degrees from USC (classical guitar) and Musician's Institute (studio and commercial guitar), and has recently completed the Masters Program at USC in Studio/Jazz Guitar.
His performance experience covers a wide range of styles including Classical, Pop and Jazz. Richard is not only a captivating live entertainer but also is a successful studio musician, recording artist, composer, music educator and contractor. He has seven CDs to his credit that include guest appearances by David Benoit, Snooky Young and Richard Elliot.
He has opened for national acts including Chuck Mangione, Bobby Caldwell, Earl Klugh, Stanley Jordan, Stanley Clark, Bo Diddley and others.
