I am a performing Magician and have been for over 30 years. During that period of time, I have had the opportunity to perform my unique blend of Magic and Comedy at thousands of shows across the United States. Thanks for delivering such a lively show to residents this August in the Belmont Village Senior Living facility. As a guest with my elder parent, I am able to attest that it was one of the most fun-filled performances of the year.
You mesmerized us with clever magic tricks ... and unexpected antics. I especially enjoyed the manner in which you laced good-hearted comedy into spontaneous audience participation. You presented a comfortable atmosphere in front of the fireplace; and in the moments you circled folks around, you sparked "the kid in us" with wonder.
I was also impressed to learn you appeared in the first annual Georgia Senior Follies at our local Cumming Playhouse . This is a major accomplishment. I read that there was steep competition among over eighty talented seniors (55 years of age and better) who auditioned for the March/April 2009 show. You, Dennis Aloia, had to be top ranking to earn a place on its stage. I heard afterwards from Darlene Lyman and Trudy Aschauer, among others, it was a truly great SELL-OUT event. Our Forsyth County Ladies League (FCLL) members attended in a group outing.
Personally, I think your act is unique in that we've never had a magician, and you are sure to wow the club at its monthly luncheon with your exceptional humor and magic touch close up.
