Dane's World
I am a Photographer that believes a photograph should capture a dynamic moment in time that can be relived long after it has passed, through imagery.
That’s the difference between a picture and a photo. I have taken over ***,*** photos in my life, and never once have I wanted to or had a desire to shoot a posed picture.
My penchant for honesty has roots in the evident truths my countless photos have revealed over the years; truths about history, about nature, and about humanity. Since the age of five, I have been fascinated with the ability to document the moments of life through his camera lens.
I have employed my camera to document life moments ranging from a vineyard caretaker transforming grapes into wine, to the life-long wisdom shared in the eyes of nursing home residents; from the silent splendor of a vividly-painted building, to subtle emotions exhibited in the expressions of individuals I have encountered.
My visual stories are being told in some rather prominent places. Images can be seen in venues including City Halls, Historical Societies and Nature Centers and Libraries. Beyond Farmington Hills’ city limits, my photos and journey have been documented for a PBS series called, “People Who Care”. I am frequently often hired to capture live events such as concerts or events and to create a Video or Montage for their web site.
Through his business and his camera lens, I have not quite seen it all just yet. More importantly, I have made sure my experiences will remain for others to enjoy, even after I am gone.
