My love of the written word evolved as I watched my Grandmother carefully write out elegant letters to her friends and family in a time long before email, when hand written correspondence was commonplace. On my **th birthday, my grandma gave me my first calligraphy kit. Ever since, I have taken advantage of this unique skill whenever I get the chance, whether it's writing out invitations or doing special projects for family and friends. After the birth of my children, I decided to take my hobby seriously and turn it into a business. That's how Carla's Calligraphy was founded.
