Our Jazz Band is made up of several top Denver jazz musicians, and plays jazz standards including Latin jazz, mainstream, swing, ballads and blues. The group performs primarily as an instrumental jazz quartet or sometimes as a jazz trio. Smaller functions and venues may want to check out David's big-sounding jazz duo. The jazz group can be made bigger, too, by adding another horn or one of Denver's fine jazz vocalists.

Our Denver Jazz Group appears in a variety of venues: Black Tie and Corporate parties, Weddings and Holiday parties, private parties, Denver Hotels, the Denver Convention Center, functions at the Denver Center for the Performing Artsj, and at Denver area Country Clubs and town clubs.

David Halterman started his Denver Jazz Group in the summer of **** as a rehearsal vehicle for himself and some of Denver's top jazz musicians. "I had recently completed a Certificate in Jazz Studies at Denver's Lamont School of Music, and I wanted to continue my professional development. I had come to realize the importance of surrounding myself with the best players possible. "

The Denver Jazz Group members continue to perform regularly with other working bands, at local jazz clubs and a variety of private and public venues. The quartet fills the players' need for in-depth artistic development away from the bandstand. The result is a classic jazz quartet dedicated to standards and contemporary jazz with a polished, professional sound. Your guests and clients will hear and appreciate the difference!
