About Laura
I have a degree in early childhood education/human development from the University of Houston in Houston, TX and have found that through my teaching experiences, I have learned to observe the moment and grasp it because it comes and goes so fast. I have always had a creative eye and started taking pictures as a child. Photography allows me to express myself artistically as I capture those moments that come and go throughout our lives in an instant. Now that I am a mother, I find those precious moments of my son's childhood vanish in a split second. Through careful observation and creative photography, I have found a way to hold on to that one moment. This is want counts the most in our lives...the moments, not the days. My candid, carefree and photojournalistic photography style allows me to grab that moment that will never come again and we can hold onto it for a lifetime.
