Frequently Asked Questions
How many musicians do I need?
Size of venue, number of guests, and type of occasion all play a part in deciding the size of an ensemble. As an example, a string quartet can do very nicely in a larger venue wedding ceremony, but in a more intimate setting, a violin/guitar or flute/violin/cello can do as well or better.
Another consideration is amplification, while generally not necessary in an indoor ceremony environment, outdoors, or for large (*** or greater) gatherings, it can allow a duo or trio to be heard without being obtrusive.
What (kind of) musical instruments do I want/need?
This has more to do with personal taste, than the occasion itself. The playlist page on the Noteworthy Music web site (http://www.noteworthyonline.net) can help guide you as to options that are available.
How do I know that the music will work well under the circumstances?
This is where experience and personal attention come into play. Noteworthy Music's Paul Huppert, with over twenty years of experience as an entertainment music consultant personally discusses each booking with clients. Communication is key, to a successful and memorable event.
