Each musician in Steel String Session sings and is a multi-instrumentalist playing on gorgeous fiddles, mandolins, guitars, dobros, upright bass. We love plugging in for a more powerful sound or taking it acoustic when the moment is tender or spiritual. Our song choices pull from traditional, rock, bluegrass, classical, seattle-sound, blues, jazz, big band, and country – from Beethoven to Seger, Dylan, Eagles, Beatles, Metallica (yes...), Old Crowe Medicine Show, Bill Monroe, Alison Krauss. Sound Equipment: We carry with us a full sound system with high end microphones and audio boards that can be parsed into a sophisticated and discreet Bose atmosphere sound for quiet ceremonies, then quickly enhanced with additional sound equipment for full indoor event rooms & halls or outdoor locations.
