About Us
My Daughter, Alexandra, and I started Backyard Carnival Supply after having collaborated on a number of neighborhood, birthday, and charity carnivals. We have had a wonderful time refining our games, experimenting with setup configurations, training personnel, picking prizes, and generally learning what works and what doesn't work.

Our first carnival was run by myself, my mom, dad, sister, brother, sister-in-law, partner, daughter, and niece. It was truly an enjoyable experience to see my family take on carnival personas. Mom, embraced the role of Prize Lady. Dad discovered his gift for creating harmonograph designs. Nancy quickly mastered the art of cotton candy making. Tom became Balloon Darts and Knock 'em Cans Man. Caroline emerged as face painter extraordinaire. Ron evolved into the resident hotdog specialist, otherwise known as "Weenie Man." Alexandra and Beatrice surprised us all with their flair for running games and concessions. Now our carnivals are run almost entirely by my daughter and her friends.
