Henna came into my life at the age of ** when I went back home for my aunt's wedding. Getting henna done before your wedding is almost a ritual event. Not only is the bride showered by henna patterns, but also her female friends and family members are embraced as well. Surrounded by designs, colors and the festive atmosphere, I fell in love with the tradition. It didn't take long for henna to become a passion and an obsession of mine. I started to experiment and draw henna patterns every time I had a pen and paper. Long classes and meetings started to become less boring... My walls, books, binders, picture frames started to form henna patterns. Next thing I know, I'm the official henna artist for all the friends and family gatherings, holiday events and parties.
