My name is Mikal Mount, I am am the owner and creator of Pole Dance Fitness of SWFL and SWFL Pole Dance Supply. I first discovered pole dance fitness when I had tried it all to lose that last **-** lbs but nothing was working. Workouts became sporatic as I was slowly losing motivation. I had never experienced working out at a gym or anywhere outside my home so this was a little scary at first. I never considered myself graceful or sexy and was intimidated by the idea of pole dance but at the same time was so intrigued I couldn't put the thought of trying it out of my head. So if you aren't sure if this is for you - all you have to do is come one time!After just one class I was hooked. Within a few months the physical results were amazing! As an added benefit this is the only exercise that helps you grow stronger both physically & Mentally. It allows women to feel sexy and express themselves in a comfortable , judgement free zone. What woman doesn't want to look and feel great? I have had such a boost of self-esteem and now have enough self confidence to tackle just about anythingI have continued my education of this art by participating in a pole dance instructor certification workshop. The workshop was at Susan Hilferty's Pole Fitness Miami. The instructors have had professional dance training and had some wonderful techniques. I recieved my Pole Dance Instructor Certification for beginner, intermediate, & advanced teaching. I have been teaching classes at another studio but now have my own studio in Bonita Springs. I am starting classes now at Pole Dance Fitness of SWFL and look forward to sharing my knowledge and the fun with women of all types and all ages.
