During the five years of operation in Memphis, Marvel's operated at large volume and it was not unusual to produce as many as ** specialty cakes each week along with as many as ** wedding cakes. "A Birthday in Memphis without a Marvel's cake was not a Birthday" according to many residents.

The store gained a special reputation for exceptional custom cakes as well as time honored traditional cakes. From the most elegant wedding cakes to fantasy cakes to special designs in the form of buildings, animals, and personalized items of every type to make every special occasion memorable.

The Thomson's daughter Beverly, is the Owner and Operator of this store and the Thomson's are helping with it's operation. It is Beverly's intention to build business the same way that we did in Memphis. Beverly operated one of two Marvel's stores in Memphis while she was attending Memphis State University and became highly proficient, as was her mother, Marvel in the art of cake decorating.

All items manufactured in the store are made from scratch with original recipes with extraordinary taste and fragrance. Sample cakes are available in the store as well as a number of books with cake ideas to choose from. We suggest you browse the internet for additional ideas and bring printed copies to choose from.

Prices will be determined based on the amount of complicated and time-consuming work required by each cake. Of course, simple designs are less expensive.
