Marina began dancing at the age of 3 by studying ballet and figure skating. She had studied all types of dance through out her life, but while living in St. Louis she tried and instantly fell in love with Middle Eastern Dance. After moving back to Chicago 6 years ago, she has been learning from one of the premier oriental dance instructors in the United States. She has since been continuing to improve her technique to become a professional caliber of dancer. She continues to vary and learn new techniques by taking workshops from visiting masters and performers.
