We are Sapphire Wedding & Event Planners, established in San Antonio, Texas on Sept. 23rd, 2009. The reason I remember the exact date so well is because I established my business on my 52nd birthday! Sapphire Wedding & Event Planners is a sole proprietorship. I am the CEO/Owner/Coordinator for my very first company! I named my company after my Guardian Angel, Sapphire Morning Glory. Sapphire, because that is my birthstone and Morning Glory because that is my birth flower.
I specialize in weddings and Quinceneras, but I also do bridal showers, baby showers, milestone parties, birthday parties, basically parties of all kinds! Except frat parties!! They can handle those on their own! I also do welcome home parties for returning GI's from the war in Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran. I also offer a special discount for returning soldiers. I am currently taking a correspondence course from QC Quality of Course, located in Maryland. And I do what I call "Life Celebration" parties, in which the life of a deceased person is celebrated, not mourned. All this is done with the utmost respect.
Currently, I am working with Heaven Sent Pit Bull Rescue on their annual "Angels in San Antonio" fundraiser. This event will be a dinner/dance; the highlight of this event being the actual coronation of 2 dogs, one male and one female, as "Mr. Christmas 2012" and "Ms. Christmas 2012!" The winners will be determined by the amount of money raised for the rescue. The two dogs who raise the most money for Heaven Sent will not only receive a crown, but also a royal robe and a trophy. There will also be 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners-up and an Honorable Mention. The three runners-up will receive trophies and the Honorable Mention will receive a ribbon.
