Miss Alexis Donnelly, noted Jazz and Swing singer, began her career in music as a vocalist in the early ****’s. Singing the music she loved, she soon discovered that she had tapped into legions of admirers of the Jazz, Swing and Standards made famous from the ****’s through the **’s.
Since then Alexis has appeared and performed at numerous events along the West Coast, at the Las Vegas Desert Inn, Andy Williams’ Club ** in Branson, Missouri, and Carnival Cruise Line concerts.
Her accompaniment consists of: a pianist, trio, quartet, * piece Swing and occasionally her **-piece big band. When appropriate, CD background tracks.
Alexis received the Certificate of Commendation from the Mayor and City Council of Los Angeles fro elevating public awareness of these classic art forms. This award precipitated her opportunity to work with renowned Artie Shaw.
