Nina Amaya has been studying Middle Eastern Dance since ****, and has been performing since ****. She has studied with masters of the dance such as: Rhea of Greece and her daughters Piper and Melina, Suhaila Salimpour, Amina Salah, Kajira Djoumahna and Artemis Mourat.
Nina blends Classic Egyptian Cabaret style with enthusiastic Turkish and American dance styles. The double veil dance is her specialty. She also dances with fans, cane, sword, candles and of course she plays the finger cymbals. Dances can incorporate Persian, Flamenco, and American Tribal Style influences; Nina Amaya is versatile and dependable!
Nina has and loves children and children's parties, and is very happy when she is asked to dance in a celebration that involves all ages. She does not dance all-male parties.

Teaching: Nina teaches Bellydance Classes through the Maryland Athletic Club (the MAC), the Community College of Baltimore County, and teaches workshops at locations in the Baltimore area.

Princess Amaya will perform a bellydance in costume, then teach a bellydance lesson to all the guests. Best of all, you can relax from entertaining the kids, while Princess Amaya will mesmerise the children with her shimmying hips and sparkling costume.

“Arabian Princess” is a great themed party idea - the children will have a great time dressing up and dancing, and this different form of dance and music will make them more culturally aware, and improve their cognitive skills and co-ordination skills.
