Since 1970 Wings of Love, Inc. has helped put thousands of people back in touch with the beauty of nature. Yvonne Patterson, a horticulturist turn rainforest photojournalist, comprises 20+ rare birds from around the world in Fun & Education Programs ranging from $80 - $300. Owls, toucans, pollinators and parrots come to your location. 2 year olds through 102 year olds LOVE these programs!
School programs teach geography, endangered species, science, language and more. Birds roller skate, ride bicycles {one on a high-wire}, compete in basketball, hip-hop, break-dance, drive vehicles after checking under the hood, golf, bowl, spell words, raise the flag, speak on cue and many other things. We are creating a Special Needs Program with a caique born blind. He's learning to raise the flag, ring the school bell, grocery shop {he chooses water over soda}. Curriculum tie-ins always requested.
Bird-day parties are totally awesome & memorable as the Star of the show {your birthday child} does magic tricks with birds and other interactions with the birds, including birds dancing when we all sing 'Happy Birthday'. You can also donate to our non profit organization for tax deductible purposes, which help us to give programming to underprivileged and Special Needs kids and adults.
Churches and Assisted Living Facilities love our "Birds of Faith" program which has 15 birds in it and pre-selected avian passages about birds in the Bible. After learning the Bible has lots of stories of birds in it, we call upon a toddler to see if they can find a bird in the Bible – the child opens up our Bible and discovers a live bird.
Free Owl Assemblies are given each year to a school the end of October. If you'd like your school to be considered just let us know.
