My passions in life are my God, my family and your photographs.

I am the proud husband of a beautiful wife and the father of three perfect girls. I am also the target of unending torment by our two dogs who, incidentally, weigh more than my daughters!! Hahaha, I love my family and all the things it brings... and I love photography.

Hi! My name is Steve Shockley and I welcome the opportunity to capture, in photographs, the people and events that make your life special. Since this is the “About Me” page, let me share some of my background with you.

I started portrait photography in **** in Warner Robins, GA. In the beginning, it was mostly friends and family. I didn’t make any money that wasn’t used to buy more film and camera stuff, but I started having fun and learning a bunch (and I still do!). As time progressed I built up my equipment (exclusively Nikon) skills and artistic style. I also became involved in stock photography and have sold many many images worldwide.

Whether I am behind the camera or in front of a computer monitor working on your memories, you can be sure that I am working to evoke as much emotion from the photograph as you experienced the day it was captured. You too deserve nothing less than a perfect picture!

There are many photographers in this area, and each one of them will be glad to take your money. And to be honest, with house payments looming, so will I. The difference comes years down the road when you look at my work and find yourself transported beyond cost and time back to the moment you captured...just like it was.
