Pinkrose Soul Food Cuisine ~ Chef or Catering
***-***-****
Chante was raised by a family of cooks. She grew up watching her grandmother cook for a family of nine children, grandchildren and a southern husband. Chante was greatly inspired by the art of food preparation that her grandmother mastered with such joy. When her grandmother passed away, it was her mother who had become the family cook and her inspiration. Chante's mother followed in her mother's footsteps by creating dishes from love and the desire to make others happy. Being raised in a single parent household Chante took on a great deal of responsibility by helping cook and take care of her younger siblings. This is when her love of creating meals began. She began to cook for friends, family members, coworkers and neighbors. Chante was often told she should make cooking a profession, after thinking about it for some years; Chante formed PinkRose Soulfood Cuisine LLC, with the assistance and support of her mother.
PinkRose Soulfood Cuisine offer a wide variety of food services ranging from Personal Chef (for the family or a small dinner party), Personal Grocery Shopper, and Private Cooking Lessons along with a range of other services, Although specializing in Soulfood Chante is able to provide her clients with a choice of; American dishes to Basic Italian and Mexican Cuisines. Chante has achieved much including but limited to being a certified member of Personal Chef Network; she has also attended Culinary School at NSC in Santa Monica, CA where she continues to attend classes whenever she has time. Chante is also a Certified Nutritionist – Studied at Penn Foster Career School, and is Servsafe certified through the state of California. Coming from a background of event planning this has made Chante extremely detailed oriented as well as given her an eye for beautiful things such as the art of cooking. Chante looks at cooking as an art form, often being quoted as saying "cooking is an expression of self" such as art!
