My name is Gloria E. Feliciano Marín - but everyone knows me as "Tuty" since my sister thought I smelled like tutti-frutti when I was a baby. I grew up in an artistic atmosphere (my mother was an artist of words and my father has been one of the top photographers in Puerto Rico for over ** years). I used to love going to the dark room with my dad to do "magic" (that's what I thought back then). I explored drawing, painting, graphics, sculpture, design and photography, which is where I found my passion. I developed my photographic eye and skills with much study and practice in photography.

After my studies at Penn State University in Graphic Design, I started my professional career in photography with my dad and mentor, Ramón Feliciano. I owe who I am today, both professionally speaking and otherwise, to him. He used to have a studio in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, where I was the studio manager and I still am the album designer. But with the evolution of technology, it is becoming less and less necessary to have a traditional studio as we know it. I prefer to meet with the client in a café or another comfortable setting, in order to really get to know my clients and their preferences. From there, we can decide where the client would like to have their session - from their home, my home, the beach, their favorite restaurant, a park, wherever. In reality, the world is becoming the studio we used to know.

I do any kind of photography: portrait, maternity, kids, wedding, Sweet Fifteen, and others.

I am part of the board of directors of the FPBC (Fotografos Profesionales de Bodas del Caribe) and a member of the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International). I have also conducted seminars for the FPBC. In addition, I have taught courses at the University of Puerto Rico and INFD (Instituto Nacional de Fotografía Digital). I have lectured several times at various other seminars and conventions in Puerto Rico. The main themes of my lectures and classes are about Adobe Photoshop for photographers and Album Design.
