Portraits. A daunting word. Seeming self-torture. I remember when we first started having family portraits taken. Our four children were young, ages * to three months. Trying to keep three active boys and one infant clean, happy and looking in the same direction at the same time. Whew!! I'm tired thinking of it! Bob and I were a sweaty mess by the end of it. But now, every Christmas, we take out the annual photos and reminisce about the way the years have flown by. Nothing quite kicks in the memory the way a photo does. And now, I wouldn't trade it for the world!
