American Technology Rentals, a family owned-business, has its origins in custom technology design and systems integration for businesses and educational institutions. It quickly became apparent to, then Business Manager, Bob Barnette that there was a real need for a rental division catering to hotels and convention centers. Over the years, the rental division grew.

When Lance Schrader was brought on as Director of Event Services, the concept of what could be offered to clients expanded even farther. With the addition of Victor Hodges, it became apparent that the company needed an existence of its own. and American Technology Rentals was born. We have since added more employees and are currently in the middle of a major expansion that will add more equipment and employees. These are exciting times at ATR, and the future looks even brighter. We take emerging technologies and incorporate them into our design mix. What comes out of this is a truly revolutionary approach to event production and design.
