Wedding Cakes

Angelkind Artistic Creations was started by artist Charity Rue, when for her own wedding she could not find a cake topper she truly felt represented her and her husband and so took her love of art and working with clay and created her own. Soon through word of mouth a business was born and thanks to the designer of her wedding cake, Candy at Sweet Angel Bake Shoppe, who generously offered to showcase her cake toppers at her bakery, Charity's career as a cake topper artist was launched. Through the support of friends and family and most of all her husband Angelkind has continued to grow and hopefully will continue to do so for many years to come.  

 Although cake toppers are mainly dedicated to wedding events, they really are a great way to commemorate those that you love for any event. Cake toppers make wonderful gifts for Birthdays, Bridal/Baby Showers, Anniversaries and more. They are made from the best polymer clays and other quality materials to produce long lasting, expertly sculpted keepsakes.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Charity has been creating hand-sculpted art for more than 15 years. She got her start in fantasy art creating fairies, angels, witches and wizards for sale in New Hope, Pa and at various craft shows throughout Philadelphia, PA. Finally finding her niche in 2003 unleashing her talents on creating one of kind cake toppers for special events. However it was not until 2005 that her business got a much needed boost from the creation of her website by Webmaster (and loving husband) Matthew Rue, Angelkind Artistic Creations went national. Since then she has been creating one of kind cake toppers for wonderful people all across the U.S. and even Canada.

Caricature Cake Topper*-Using photos a realistic artistic rendition of you can be made in to a caricature. Caricatures are not meant to be sculptural in nature but a fun characterization. Topper stands 6-8" in height and can be made in any pose.

Doll Face Topper*-Toppers are made to reflect you in every way from clothing to hairstyles. This more simplistic version of the Caricature Cake Topper is an affordable way to show the true you. Stands or sits 4-6" in height. Faces are made simplistic with seed bead eyes.

Smilies Topper*-Toppers are made very similar to Doll Face Cake Toppers as they are made to reflect you in every way from clothing to hairstyles. Only now the faces are rounded and the smiles are even bigger. Faces are hand painted. Topper stands or sits 4-6" in height.

Cupcake Topper*-These cake toppers are made to fit any budget. Topper is embellished with minicurl doll hair and seed bead eyes. You choose the color of hair and customize the style of dress and colors used. Cake topper stands 3-4" in height.

Theme Topper-Do you have a particular theme for you wedding and can't find a cake topper to match? Would you like to add pets, props or other people to your cake topper? Animal Topper-A fan of the animal kingdom? This topper may be for you. Any animal can be created into a topper designed specifically for you.

Monograms -Monograms are hand sculpted. You have a choice of 5 different letter styles. Your color options are gold, silver or your theme color. You can choose to have them embellished with rhinestones or not. HOW DOES IT WORK?
I pride myself on quality and detail, using various items to make a figure come to life. All figures are hand sculpted in polymer clay over a structured form. No molds are ever used. Through the use of photographs and reference materials facial features and smiles come to life. No small detail is over looked. To add further embellishment some pieces are hand painted to give it just the right look.  

 I love my work and it shows.   

Really any cake topper idea can be accomplished. I believe my wedding couples and those searching for that special something to present as a gift are only limited by their imaginations. It's an "anything goes"rule around here.
