Live Demonstrations For All Events
Over the years Scott has been asked by several institutions to give a live demonstration and talk about his unique craft. Because of his contagious energy, these requests and the natural fascination people have with ice sculpture, Scott has created an opportunity for people to be a part of the inspiration that drives his creations. As founder and president of four successful ice sculptingpanies, an Olympian, world champion, numerous TV appearances (Regis and Kathy , Charles Kuralt, David Letterman, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Paula Deen, Rachael Ray, The Food Network, Extreme Cuisine, That's Incredible and more) and a TV show of his own in the works, Scott has a great deal of experience to draw from to entertain guests with an engaging, dynamic and interactive presentation.
Live Demonstrations are for kids of all ages and groups of all sizes entertaining guests as they interact with Scott as he sculpts for their event. Ice Art Seminars are a bit more intimate and allow guests to learn more about the process behind Scott's creations, to ask questions, to see the tools and to get some safe hands on time. During the Ice Art Seminar attendees will also have an opportunity to see some of the world's largest ice sculptures. Live Demonstrations & Ice Art Seminars can run as long as you would like, up to two hours in length. Demos and Seminars alike can be hosted indoors or outside. Scott supplies everything needed including large photos, ice, tools, video, etc. You supply the guests and venue.
People will not soon forget the adventure of watching Scott sculpt live! There is nothing quite like the adrenaline rush of power tools in action mixed with the charismaticmand Scott possesses of a living medium being sculpted right in front of your eyes.
Frozen Fun For The Kids
Yes! We love kids! Scott has been offering frozen fun for the kids for over 20 years now. It all started at a street fair in Washington DC. Scott and his Fear No Ice partners, Peter and Kevin, needed something to do for hundreds of kids at the last minute. When all was said and done they ended up sculpting a massive wall of ice out of individual bricks of ice, with a life sized Humpty Dumpty perched on top of the wall. Engaging the kids was key to a successful fair, so throughout the event Scott, Peter and Kevin would run in to the crowd to get all the kids' names. Then run back to the wall of ice to sculpt a name on each brick , getting names, sculpting names, getting names, sculpting , laughing, giggling, having fun. Finally! All the bricks were full with the names! As a grand finale the entire crowd recited the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme and ended by knocking poor Humpty Dumpty off the
