Aire Play. provides sizzling, high energy dance music to cool, sophisticated jazz and standards, and delivers aplete variety of music performed by some of the finest musicians in the business. Aire Play has risen in popularity to be one of southern California's premier party bands...in great demand at high level corporate events, weddings, and private parties. The band size is variable and there are several configurations to choose from.

In addition to Contemporary Rock and Pop, Motown, Disco, Funk and R&B classics from the fifty's, sixty's and seventy's, Aire Play delivers smooth Swing and Latin standards from the 40's and 50's and Hits from the Big Band Era.
Aire Play knows that the dinner set of classy jazz and mellow contemporary music is just as important as the high energy dance set they play later. Featuring seasoned jazz musicians, Aire Play provides a world class listening experience with traditional or mainstream and New York style jazz (Brubeck, Coltrane, Davis, Getz, Cannonball, etc.), to adult contemporary jazz (Grover Washington, Pat Metheny, David Sanborn, Spiro Gyra , etc.).
Summer Wind (Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin Tribute)
Summer Wind's repertoire showcases the great jazz standards from the 30's through the 60's made famous by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Bobby Darin. The smooth vocal stylings of Dave Scott provide the voice for Summer Wind. The band also features saxophonist Bill Shreeve who is strongly influenced by the cool west coast sound of Paul Desmond and Stan Getz. Summer Wind is rounded out with piano, upright string bass, and drums. Let Summer Wind take you back to a time when smooth was cool, swing was king, and when live Jazz, America's greatest contribution to the performing arts, brought sophistication to the night life.
The Surf Kings (Cookin' Rock and Soul and Beach Music)
The Surf Kings create an exciting beach party atmosphere with smokin' surf/hot rod hits from the Beach Boys, The Chantays, The Surfaris, Jan & Dean, The Ventures, and others. The Surf Kings take you back to the rock of the 50's with chart busters from Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Little Richard, Chubby Checker, etc. You'll relive the 60's with cookin' Rock, Soul, Rythm & Blues from Sam Cook, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Jr. Walker, The Beatles, The Coasters, Del Shanon, etc. Dance to classics from the early 70's by Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Sly & the Family Stone, James Taylor and others. Sax, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums make up this five piece, all male band. The Surf Kings faithfully recreate the original sound of the Do-Wopp vocal groups and layered Beach Boys harmonies featuring three to four part vocal arrangements. One or two female vocalists can be added as an option, enhancing the band's repertoire with tunes by Aretha Franklin, Martha and the Vandellas, The Supremes, Doris Troy, and others. For cocktails and dinner before dancing, the band is also capable of playing as a quiet backdrop to conversation. This set will include mellow period pieces as well as traditional swing and Latin standards.

Option One: Solo Sax With Backing Tracks
Bill Shreeve performing on soprano, alto and tenor sax with the use of a small P.A. system and prerecorded backing tracks. It's yourpact and economical way to offer a live jazz performance of classic and contemporary jazz standards.
Option Two: Jazz Duo
Saxophonist Bill Shreeve teams up with a keyboardist playing piano and key bass. The keyboardist simultaneously plays key bass as well as piano, so with the use of a drum machine, you get the sounds of a bass player and drummer to make the duo sound like four musicians instead of two! The Bill Shreeve Duo is far more colorful and entertaining than a solo pianist or guitar, but not much more expensive.
Option Three: Jazz Trio or Power Trio
Add a live drummer or bass player to the duo and you have the Bill Shreeve Trio. The Power Trio adds vocals to the mix. Bill's drummer just happens to be a great vocalist as well, so in just three pieces (sax/flute, keys/key bass, drums/vocal), you have all the elements of a 5 piece band! It's a talent packed trio and an amazing value.
Option Four: Jazz Quartet
With the quartet, all the important elements of a great jazz group are represented. Sax, keys, bass and drums. The Bill Shreeve Quartet has a deep repertoire from classic to contemporary jazz and pop, and offers dynamic levels from background to concerts.
Option Five: Jazz Quintet Add another horn to the mix (trombone, trumpet, or sax), and you have the Bill Shreeve Quintet. From unique originalpositions to jazz standards, from contemporary to classic styles featuring intricate arrangements for two horns, Bill Shreeve brings a world-class music experience to your clientele.
