Memories fade, even the ones we cherish the most. So for most people, having their wedding photographed is a way to ensure that the memories last. Their intimate nature makes them the ideal way to capture a wedding-forever. Couples want to ensure someone with expertise, creativity, and experience handles these moments. While it may be tempting to entrust a friend or relative with the task of taking photographs at the wedding, most professionals agree this is a mistake. It may save a little money, but it won't get a professional-quality product at the end. And remember--this is forever!

I believe it is important to meet with all of my couples face to face so we can have a good idea whether or not we feel comfortable working together. Then I will custom design packages for each couple I work with, because each couple is different, and they certainly have different needs. So sitting down together allows us the opportunity to go over the budget, and figure out what you would like to receive in the end.

As a student of the art of photography I am always learning new techniques and updating my equipment to give my couples the best photos possible. I am trained in lighting, posing, composition and I strive to make sure no detail is overlooked. Creativity is key in today's wedding photography. I use a combination of traditional and photo-journalistic styles and I am very versatile to match the ideas my couples wish to see in a finished product. I am a big fan of shooting un-posed, creating a more natural look with true emotions.

I have a complete set of professional level 35mm and digital equipment. I still soot with a combination of film and digital, mostly because there are a few choice 35mm lenses that I have that digital technologies haven't replaced. To me, there are some images that just can't be captured digitally. To ensure the best-quality photos, I only use professional grade film and have the prints developed at a high-quality professional certified lab. I offer a wide range of products for all budgets, and many unique album options for our modern bride and groom.

In your search to find the perfect wedding photographer to fill your needs the one tip I would give to any couple is always compare apples to apples. Never compare quantity. Seven hundred photos of low quality may not be worth as much as two hundred high quality photos. After the wedding, anticipate a two to three-week turnaround to see the wedding proofs. This is especially true during the peak wedding season of April through October.
