California Sounds offers video Karaoke -- meaning the song lyrics appear on a video screen in front of you, so you don't have to read them off an old, sweaty, wrinkled piece of paper. Additionally, California Sounds has a collection of over 500 songs, encompassing a wide range of styles and eras -- oldies, hip-hop, classic rock, disco, country, rap, alternative, and nearly everything in between. Our main focus, however, is new music -- so if you're thinking of hosting a Karaoke party for the 16 - 35 year old crowd, they'll be able to choose from a selection which includes artists like Aaliyah, Cristina Aguliera, Blues Traveler, Buckcherry, Counting Crows, Destiny's Child, Everclear, Garbage, Jamiroquai, Nine Inch Nails, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Silverchair, Third Eye Blind, and more!

Music:
With our advanced computerized DJ system, all the music, mixes and selections you hear at your event are done with a powerful laptop computer, enabling you to actually see your playlist and listen to it (if you want) long before the big day even arrives. All our wedding packages come with a pre-consultation where your DJ meets with you and brings along the laptop. At your meeting you can load in certain selections form your own library (if we don't already have the songs) and watch your soundtrack materialize before your eyes. But not to worry, requests and special selections for the moment can still be added during your event at any time, in fact it's much faster and interactive than CDs or records. The sound quality is still second to none, our music is crystal clear, and sounds just the way your own CDs do at home.
