During the holidays he will dress up as Santa Claus and plays the role extremely well. The Santa Suit he uses is a tuxedo-cut red ensemble featuring real Alaskan Fox Fur trim on cuffs and lapels. Crane grows a real beard every year for credibility, and is a member of the Real Bearded Santas. He performs all the traditional Santa Services: handing out candy canes or treats you provide, reading a story or poem of your choice, hand delivering every labeled family gift (up to ten members), providing a huge red bag (big enough for a tricycle), and taking photos with all. The Magic Santa Claus services for a family of ten or fewer are $175, and with a 20 minute Magic Show the price is $250. There is also a $1 travel charge if outside San Diego City.
For western themed events he wille dressed as the cowboy Bafflin' Bill Cody and perform a series of western themed magic effects perfect for cowboy or cowgirl parties. Kids love to hear his tales of western life that whenbined with his magic brings everyone a feeling and understanding of the old west. Crane has a built a replica of Cody's own Circus Show costume, including thigh-high boots and embroidered shirt! A 25-30 minute show is $175 plus transportation outside San Diego City limits. Hourly repeating shows are $200 per hour plus transportation. You may have a discount for multiple hours or repeat shows.
He will even dress up for medieval and Harry Potter themed events as Merlin-ye-Mage, dressed in motley tights, silk shirt, and chain mail helmet (from his appearances in Quasimodo ) and perform a variety of medieval themed mind reading effects and illusions. His shows typically run half an hour, and he also offers hourly repeating magic shows perfect for entertaining large crowds. He performs an exciting 15-minute show and then moves around the venue or among the tables, performing four short shows in four locations. In this way many people get to be in the front row. . .or even volunteer to help! Hourly repeating shows are $200 per hour, and the half hour stage show is $175. Professor Crane also offers a 45-minute Stage Show for schools and features Sawing the Principal in Half (the easy part) and returning him or her to duty afterwards (the Magical part). His Reading Reward Assembly Show is $300, and may also be performed for adults and larger venues.
