Do you know you will spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than with your mother? Imagine spending your entire wedding day with someone you don't like! Believe it or not, many brides find out about this one important piece of information too late.

Who am I? I'm Denny Nelson (short for Denise) and I'm passionate about photographing weddings! In fact, this has been my love for 16 years now. I am completely committed to the work I do. I even shot a wedding the day after I had a baby because I was committed to being there. I've been told that's going a little too far! I have a studio in South Pasadena, California and consider myself very fortunate to have many wonderful clients.

Wedding Photography is my specialty. It's interesting to note that there are many professional photographers who won't touch a wedding! They are uncomfortable with the "only one chance to get it right" circumstances, the emotional nature of the day, or working with so many people at one time. That's why it's important to have a photographer who specializes in weddings.

Technical skill in taking photographs is obviously the first criteria for selecting your photographer. Equally important, however, is finding someone you "click" with. When you make a decision to choose a photographer, remember that this is a person whom you will be spending time with. Do you feel at ease with this person? Is this someone you can talk to? Someone who is flexible if things are running behind schedule? Is there a sense of humor? These are make or break points for your wedding day. I feel very strongly about getting to know my clients as much as possible before their wedding for one simple reason. You will be working with many strangers you don't know and have never seen before on your day. I want to be a friendly and familiar face throughout the day. We will meet several times before the wedding (our initial meeting, engagement session, engagement photo viewing, and final consultation). By your wedding day, I want you to feel very comfortable and relaxed working with me.
