The venerable El Cortez, originally built in 1927, has been restored with all the amenities you'd expect to find in the Twenty-first Century.

While preserving the elegant characteristics of its Spanish Renaissance Revival architecture, the apartments have been fitted with all-new plumbing, electrical, heating and air-conditioning systems, as well as new high-speed elevators and a full fire and life-safety system. Each apartment is fitted for high speed internet access and wiring for up to six telephone lines. Tenants can enjoy either (or both!) of the two sun terraces, the refitted 1950s pool, the new fully-tiled indoor spa, and a state of the art gym with personal training available by Erich Courage.

This room– located on the ground floor–is the ideal choice for parties, dances and weddings, banquets and other social events.
