Steve Adams formed “Kentucky Rain” in 1989, and since then has performed for thousands on the West Coast, playing from California to Vancouver, British Columbia. The show has gained a reputation as one of the finest, most concise tributes to ever honor the late, great Elvis Presley. The band has performed at some of the largest fairs and festivals throughout the region, as well as the most prestigious clubs and casinos on the West Coast. Steve has also appeared on several television variety shows such as “Evening Magazine,” “Northwest Afternoon,” and “Rising Stars of the Northwest,” in addition to doing several TV and Radio commercials, and performing dozens of legal marriages as Elvis.

Steve has the look, the voice, and the on-stage mannerisms of the King, and Kentucky Rain is widely recognized for the authenticity of their music. Last year, they released their first CD, “Alive At the Blue Yonder,” and are currently at work on their new CD, “Sleepwalkin’ In Seattle,” which should be available by the end of 2000.

General format for club dates is a four hour show, starting with “Elvis in the 70’s,” a tribute to the Las Vegas years. The second set is “Kentucky Rain” performing their one hour set of Rock & Roll classics, such as “La Bamba,” “Pretty Woman,” “Louie, Louie,” etc. and the final set is “Elvis in the 50’s,” with such favorites as “Jailhouse Rock,” “Hound Dog,” etc. This format has worked well, but the show can be tailored to the client’s specific need.

Rates are reasonable considering the quality of the show, and the band has enough lighting and sound equipment to play any size venue.

Kentucky Rain consists of Steve Adams, as Elvis, Steve Preszler on lead guitar, Dallas Cooper on bass, Hugh Judd on keyboards, and Larry Cutler on drums. Backup singers and a horn section are available for some of the larger performances.
