Plant Parties! Looking for somethingpletely unique to do for a shower, birthday or get-together? Our plant parties are held at our venue or yours. We supply all of the materials including plants, containers and frou-frou that are needed for the party and can create a planting party to suit every taste, every budget. Some of our events include:
Terrarium Parties: (Adults and kids) Terrariums are all the rage these days. For the party we will make terrariums for sun or shade using succulents, plants or moss. Each guest takes their creation home. We supply the jars, dirt, plants and even miniature creature figurines to inhabit your terrarium. Guests are invited to bring their own glass container to plant, if they'd like. The event last for about two hours. Cost for this party starts at $30 per person, minimum 10 guests.
Herb Container Parties: It always seems that the disappearance of herbs in the nurseries coincides with the desire to sprinkle fresh herbs from the garden on your own kitchen creations. Not only are these containers edible, they're also beautiful. Containers can vary in size and materials but are usually about 16 wide, by 18 tall and include 3-7 herb varieties for your kitchen wizardry. The event lasts for about two hours. Cost for this party starts at $20 per person, minimum 10 guests.
Hanging Basket Parties: Create a one of a kind piece for your front porch. These aren't ordinary baskets. Florifically abundant, these baskets are also enhanced with LED lights and crystal chandelier prisms. Baskets are quite large to really huge in size. The event lasts two to three hours, depending on the number of guests. Cost for this party starts at around $50 per person with a 5 person minimum.
Living Centerpiece Parties: If you're having a wedding or holiday celebration where a table centerpiece is de rigueur, why not make your own? Not only will you have a finished product to meet your exact specifications, you'll now know how to make your own centerpieces for future parties. Centerpieces are made with living plants, not cut flowers. Let us know the color scheme and we will bring containers, materials and plants to match. Cost for this party varies with the type of centerpiece and a minimum of 5 guests (or at least 5 centerpieces) is suggested.
Rain Garden Parties: If you'd like to celebrate an event by giving a gift to the Chesapeake Bay, throw a Rain Garden Party. Prior to the party we'll help you plan out a small rain garden (about 10x10) and what you'll need to prepare for the event. On the day of the event, we'll bring rain garden plants, materials, tools and know-how. These parties are limited to fine-weather days but there is no additional cost for having to reschedule due to inclement weather. Cost for this party starts at around $500 for theplete package. The event typically lasts from 1/2 to an entire day and there is a suggested 10 guest minimum.
