Unique Venues

Greystone Hall is a stately mansion, built in 1907, at the center of an English style country estate. Since 1942 the mansion has been home to three generations of our family. The mansion remains a family residence and has been the site of many family gatherings throughout the years. Since 1992 the family has been offering the first floor rooms of Greystone Hall for rent to individuals, companies, corporations, associations and charitable organizations for weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, and other special events. The mansion and grounds are also available for use as a location site for advertising and professional photographic, video, TV and movie media productions. We also offer private group tours of the mansion and gardens. 

Corporate Gatherings -
Greystone Hall’s stately grandeur makes it the ideal site for formal corporate entertaining from year round private dinner parties for twelve in the mansion Family Dining Room to winter time banquets in the Library for up to seventy five or station style events for up to one hundred and fifty to banquets in the Tent Pavilion for 200 plus guests.

Holiday Parties -
During the Holiday Season, the mansion is rented embellished for the season with evergreen garlands and wreaths, Christmas Tree, and decorations designed to complement each of the mansion’s formal rooms. Greystone Hall provides house centerpieces for the party tables. Three roaring fireplaces provide a cheery welcome to arriving guests.

Themed Events -
Greystone Hall’s English Renaissance architecture, classic, interiors, and gardens are reminiscent of period English mansions and landscapes memorialized in the novels Jane Austen, the gothic romances of the Bronte Sisters, the mysteries of Agatha Christie and Evelyn Waugh’s Brideshead Revisited. The mansion - though built in 1907 - reflects five hundred years of historical design and architectural ornament. Thus it is a perfect site for period theme events from Gothic to Georgian, Regency to Victorian, Edwardian to the 1920’s, 1930’s and 1940’s.

Location Shoots -
Greystone Hall offers a myriad of backgrounds and decor for advertising and film location shoots. Location Use Rentals vary according to the type of shoot (still photography, video, film, duration of the shoot, the number of participants involved etc. Basic Fees for a photographic shoot for one camera crew with up to twenty participants (e.g., director, crew, models, administrative staff) on a weekday start at $125 per hour with a five hour minimum. Video Shoots are $250 per hour: TV ands Movie Shoots are $350 per hour. Generally, the site must receive a credit in the produced advertisement, special publication or other media production. Greystone Hall is registered as a location site with the Greater Philadelphia Film Office and the Pennsylvania Film Commission.

*Weekday location use starts at $200.00 per hour with a five hour minimum.
