Play horseshoes, go on a hayride pulled by magnificent Belgian draft horses. Try your hand at *calf roping, *bull riding, or a chili cook off. Bootscoot and learn line dancing to a live western band, or relax by the campfire, sing along or listen to a cowboy poet.

HAZY MEADOW RANCH was built fifteen years ago in a picturesque country valley in Lakeside, California. It is a real working horse ranch with over 75 horses currently on the grounds. We also have ponies, dogs, chickens, peacocks, cats, and everything else you find on a ranch.
Our goal here at HAZY MEADOW RANCH is to provide groups with a "Western Experience" for their next event. We offer a full array of spices such as:
In addition to our ranch, HAZY MEADOW RANCH has been providing horse and carriage services throughout the County of San Diego for the past six years.
We are the exclusive wedding carriage used by many of the finer wedding sites in town. In addition to the traditional wedding carriages, we have charming, old fashioned "hitch wagons" which are used for various promotions and seasonal events. HAZY MEADOW also has a "Hay Wagon", which seats about twenty-five, and is great for Christmas block parties, caroling, etc., and a "wagonette" which is excellent for steep terrain. We are, of course, fully insured, a member of Carriage Operators of North America, and have county and individual city business licenses where required. For convenience we do accept VISA and MASTERCARD
The bride's experience begins in the lovely "Bride's room", charmingly appointed, with ample mirrors, seating, a full bath, and a fabulous view over the orchard to the surrounding mountains! She will float down the stairwell, admiring herself in large mirrors, pass the beautiful stained glass window, and step onto the winding brick path that leads her under an arbor to the elegant white wedding carriage that awaits her! She will be transported in elegant style to the "Country Meadow" gazebo where the bridal party awaits her!
Groom's men have been enjoying themselves in the "Groom's room" which is appointed with a pool table, TV&DVD player, bar, gaming table, comfortable seating, and restroom; all with a distinct western motif, before being transported to the wedding grounds.
Far removed from the chaotic sounds of civilization, surrounded by the chirping of birds, and the rustle of wind in the tree branches, the lovely white "Country Meadow" gazebo is the perfect site for your wedding.
After the ceremony, Bride and Groom are whisked away in the wedding carriage, go for a relaxing ride, while the guests move to the reception area. After photos have been taken, the Bride and Groom make a dramatic entry to their reception, as they are announced by the master of ceremonies!
A beautiful reception follows, with music, dancing, and levity; a wonderful experience is enjoyed by all!
