Hello, I am Rabbi Andrea, an Ordained Reform Rabbi. It is very important to have a rabbi to officiate a Jewish ceremony in order to make sure that the marriage ceremony, Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, Hebrew Naming and all other life cycle ceremonies are done properly.

Marriage is a blessing! The rituals that make up the Jewish Wedding are beautiful! That beauty reflects in the faces of the Katan (bridegroom) and Kallah (bride) throughout those rituals. The symbolism is that the bride and groom are about to create their own "new world" together intertwining two families with the customs and traditions under the Chuppah.
