Katya is an Award Winning professional belly dancer based out of Monterey, California with over 15 years of dance experience. She established herself as a professional belly dancer in Chicago, Illinois over 6 years ago. Katya has performed in countless party events all over the Chicago area as well as some of the most popular Middle Eastern hot spots as Souk, Al Hambra, Arkadash, Barba Yianni and many more. Her unique performance style and dramatic interpretation of the Middle Eastern music allows her to breeze in life into a traditional belly dance routine.

In 2005 Katya became a finalist at the Second Annual Golden Navel Competion at Tizi Melloul restaurant in Chicago. The following year she won a title of the Belly Dancer of Chicago 2006 at Souk restaurant. In 2011 she opened for one of the most popular Arab singers Najwa Karam in her Chicago Concert.
