Lions Tigers & Bears

Lions Tigers & Bears is a federally and state licensed non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue facility dedicated to providing a safe haven for unwanted and abused exotic cats. We are a NO KILL, NO BREED facility that allows cats in our care the opportunity to live out their lives with dignity in a caring and safe environment. Our goal is to provide a safe haven to rescued cats and to educate the public about the growing population of abandoned unwanted exotic animals.
The beautiful Lions Tigers & Bears ranch is located just outside of Alpine, California in sunny San Diego County. The ranch is 93 acres in size. There is a volunteer office, picnic area, barn, farm animal encounter area and the habitats for our rescued big cats. Part of the barn serves as an onsite medical care center which allows us to perform routine medical exams and minor surgeries without transporting the cats.
Lions Tigers & Bears is a wonderful place to visit. In addition to being home to 17 species, there is a rich history to explore on your visit. Lions Tigers & Bears is located on what once was a stage coach stop and on your visit you can see the historical adobe structure that still exists today. All visits to Lions Tigers & Bears are by appointment only. Call our office to make an appointment.
Visit Days
and visit with our 13 big cats and Liberty our black bear cub! We are now having visiting hours a couple times a week and almost every Saturday. Call the office for specific hours and to make a reservation. Members wee, please call to make a reservation. Non-members can enjoy this visit for a $25 donation for adults and $15 donation for kids (12 and under).
